Neon in November

Yep, Neon in November...and as you can guess from the title of this post, I am around four days late in publishing this outfit post. But, life got in between! Well, for those of you who follow me on Instagram, you might have already seen this outfit. I got a such a wild response on the IG pic that I decided to go ahead and do an outfit post on the blog. I tell you, sometimes the outfits I post on my IG feed outshine those I post on the blog. (One of these days, I feel like doing an IG outfit blog, but the pic quality is not up to the mark so, I am a little hesitant to pursue that idea.)

Anyways, back to the outfit! It was one of the warmer days in November that I decided to don my bright neon tunic. Keeping in mind the dull winters, I paired it with a black blazer to cover up the in-your-face-flashing colors. Regular denims and booties completed the outfit. The tunic is one of my finds from the famous bargain markets in Bombay - Crawford Market. It's right in the heart of the city, buzzing with hawkers, shoppers and lots of activity. You get such fabulous things there for dirt cheap prices, I tell you! And it's just not clothes, you have accessories, shoes, home decor things, kitchen and plastic furniture items, spices, cloth market...you name it and they have it!

Well, Crawford Market has to be one of my fave places to shop in the world...what's yours? Do share in the comments below!

P.S.: The title of the post could very well have been - Street Shopping Finds! I snagged that neon necklace from another of my fave shopping joints in downtown Bombay - Colaba Causeway. It's the Holy Grail of street shopping in the busy city and it's right beside the famous Taj Mahal Hotel and the Gateway of India. You have to visit Colaba Causeway if you are in the area.

How I Styled - Indian Ethinc Wear

Taking a look back, I flaunted my first love - Indian ethnic wear - not so many times as I would have loved to. Nevertheless, all of them are my favorite and now that I am in India, I try to wear more Indian than western clothes. The quintessential punjabi suit is my all time fave, followed by the five-yard sari (black being my color of choice). Thanks to the InFB challenge last year, I put a quirky spin on the regular Indian tunic and styled it like a dress with an ethnic flair :)

Take a look below and choose your pick as to which look you loved the most - sari or suit or tunic?

P.S.: Individual posts are linked to the numbers below.

P.P.S.: I look so different in Indian wear, don't I? what do you think? :)

Plaid tunic

**This is a pre-scheduled post while I am away on a vacation in India**

Sometimes a tunic and jeans is just what you need on a lazy day. No more of the tops, skirts, short routine..tunics are simple and comfortable. And what better than a printed one. Black military jacket, blue flats completed this comfy look. And of course, a glitter hairband to cheer up my bad-hair day. So how do you dress up on your off-days? Any tips or tricks, do share in the comments below.
